A native of Southern California, Dr. Cheng completed his medical school at UCLA where he developed an interest in comprehensive pain management. During his clinical clerkships he was awarded a letter of distinction for excellence in patient care. He stayed at UCLA for his anesthesiology residency to treat patients with complex diseases gaining invaluable experience. During residency, Dr. Cheng conducted research in chronic pain patients and published his findings in the journal “Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine.”

Dr. Cheng has given multiple presentations at meetings for the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Western Anesthesia Residency Conference. He has served on the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee as an expert member in pain management.

Dr. Trinh received his bachelor’s degree at UC Berkeley where he discovered his interest in musculoskeletal pain while volunteering for the disabled. He went on to earn his medical degree at UC Davis School of Medicine where he continued his service to the pain community as he was co-director of UCD Paul Hom Community Clinic. He completed residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine in New York where he was honored to serve as Chief Resident and later awarded the prestigious membership into AOA Medical Honors Society for his contributions to the residency program and leadership in community service. Dr. Trinh returned to his home state of California to complete his fellowship training in Pain Management at Loma Linda School of Medicine. He has published numerous pain management journal articles as well as book chapters in pain management textbooks. He is an award recipient for best podium presentation at both New York/New Jersey Society of Interventional Pain Physicians Symposium and Hofstra School of Medicine Research Day.

Dr. Trinh loves to travel and enjoys the outdoors with his wife and family. He is actively involved with his church and spends time mentoring members of the youth group. He also likes to spend time playing basketball and tennis, and has a newfound interest in wood crafts.


Dr. Jon Bennett, a native to Southern California, received his Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing at California State University of Long Beach. Thereafter, he attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences and completed his residency in anesthesiology at UC Irvine Medical Center. Dr. Bennett is a board-certified anesthesiologist and has been in practice for over 10 years.

Dr. Bennett is married and has two beautiful children. He enjoys surfing, hiking, attending church, and spending time with family. Dr. Bennett and his wife are staff volunteers for the South Orange County Young Marine unit at Camp Pendleton, where his son is a Young Marine and his daughter a Young Marine Recruit.


Dr. Gianzero has been practicing anesthesia in the greater Orange County and Los Angeles areas for over 13 years, since completing his residency at the University of California at Irvine. He has been on staff at St. Jude’s Hospital in Fullerton since 2000. During his residency, he was honored with the class academic excellence award, served as chief resident, and was chosen to present his research at the CSA. He is a recipient of the Western Anesthesia Research Conference (WARC) top presenter award.

Dr. Gianzero graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked extensively in the field of petroleum engineering research where he modeled numerous well-logging tools on computers and co-authored several research papers. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas at Galveston in 1994.


Dr. Bogdan Popa is a Medical Doctor licensed in the State of California since 1996. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Stanford University Medical Center in 1999, and currently has a private practice in Orange County, California. Having served many years in private practice, he is skilled at outpatient anesthesiology in providing the best care, safety, and ensuring the comfort of the patients.


Dr. Yun received his medical degree from University of Southern California. Since then, he completed residency in anesthesiology at UCLA. He has been practicing in orange county for over 10 years with an excellent background in ongoing research, clinical medicine, and serves as clinical professor for students at Western University.

He has served as a California Society of Anesthesiology district delegate and has been awarded the Physician of Excellence Award by the Orange County Medical Association. He is an active member of the American Society of Anesthesiology, California Society of Anesthesiology, and Medical Wilderness Society. He is certified in anesthesiology and advanced cardiac life support. During his free time he enjoys playing hockey, tennis, running, and mountaineering.
